“As the Bangladesh’s leading trade fair with the strongest growth momentum, DTG has seen its scale become seven times as large as 15 years ago in terms of exhibitor numbers. This significant growth in exhibitor turnout indicates the promising future of Bangladesh’s textile and garment industry. We are proud to build this highly effective sourcing platform for all the industry players to seek innovative products, collect the latest market information, and develop more business opportunities and partnerships,” said Judy Wang, president of Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd.

Versatile Machines Needed to Further Galvanize RMG Sector

Bangladesh is the world’s second largest exporter of ready-made garments (RMG) after China. The textile and garment sector is vital to its economy, creating almost four million jobs and accounting for over 80% of its exports. To bolster their continued export growth and fulfill massive orders from global retailers such as H&M, Mark & Spencer, Wal-Mart, GAP, Levis, and Zara, garment manufacturing factories in Bangladesh must upgrade their productivity with the latest machines and technologies. DTG is mainly designed to bring together all the related machines and technologies from both regional and international brands under one roof, serving as a professional trade platform for all the buyers to sharpen their competitive edges.

Grand Gathering of Leading Global Brands

As one of the main growth drivers for the Bangladesh’s textile and garment industry, DTG has managed to bring all the renowned brands to this platform to showcase their latest machinery and products. Among them are world’s leading brands covering comprehensive textile and garment supply chains, including Mayer & Cie, Karl Mayer, Pai Lung, Santoni, Shima Seiki, Stoll, Terrot, and Lonati presenting diverse versatile knitting machines; Konica Minolta providing quality color measuring equipment; M&R showcasing a variety of high-caliber printing machines; LMW, Rieter, Saurer, Schlafhorst, Truetzschler and Murata offering high-performance spinning machines; as well as Toyota, Picanol, Staubli, and SMIT, demonstrating state-of-the-art weaving machines.

Besides machinery products, exhibits also cover other accessories and technologies from leading international brands, including Loepfe, a major supplier of cutting-edge total solutions including electronic control systems widely used in spinning mills, weaving mills and other textile sectors; Groz-Beckert, a heavyweight maker of industrial machine needles; Graf+Cie, a leading manufacturer of clothings for flat cards and roller cards; and USTER, a top instrument provider for textile quality measurement and certification.

Enjoy Rewarding Visit to Informative Platform

Beyond serving as an informative platform where you can access equipment and technologies for upgrading production, collect local market information, and understand market needs, the DTG will also witness an educative seminar to help you better grasp the development trends of the textile and garment industry in Bangladesh. The seminar will feature the topic on Sustainable Technologies & Processes, which will take place at Hall of Fame from 3.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on February 8.

To better enhance your visit quality and experience, this year the DTG will launch, for the first time ever, an online pre-registration service. Visitors can use the service to get a quick access instead of waiting long on-site. Pre-registration will be closed on February 7. Don’t miss the registration time, and plan your visit earlier!
