The 10th Dhaka International Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG2013), jointly organized by Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), Chan Chao Int’l Co., Ltd., and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd. is one of the largest annual and must-attend trade events in Bangladesh. During the four-day-event from January 31st ~ February 3rd (12:00PM to 08:00PM), over 850 exhibitors will be displaying a wide variety of state-of-the-art textiles and garments technologies, machinery and parts.
Textile and garment industry is the most important segment of Bangladesh's manufacturing industry, accounting for 80% of total export earnings and employing 3.6 million people. It has excelled in the international market, Bangladesh is now the 2nd largest RMG exporters in the world with annual export of RMG over US$22.92 billion. Worldwide wholesale buyers are looking for the “next China” and Bangladesh is clearly the preferred next stop for the sourcing caravan.
DTG2013 offers an ideal platform for Bangladesh exporters to come into contact and deal with related manufacturers, regional agents and wholesalers, source high quality machinery, equipment and materials in one roof. DTG2013 has strong support from key government Ministries and other institutions responsible for the expansion and development of the industrial sector. Organizers also invite local organizations, associations and industrial parks to take part in purchasing, interchanging information, technology transfer, conducting promotional activities and advertisement in ASEAN and SAARC countries.

Furthermore, Bangladesh also explored some new export destinations such as Japan, Korea, China, India and some countries of South America and South Africa these years. Hence, Bangladesh has become one of the most potential markets for industrial machineries and equipment. Industrial sectors and exports gradually achieve better position every year. Bangladesh economy has been changing constantly; it now faces new challenges of globalization.
