The 9th Dhaka International Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG2012), jointly organized by Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), Chan Chao Int’l Co., Ltd., and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd. is one of the largest annual and must-attend trade events in Bangladesh. During the four-day-event from February 9th ~ 12th (12:00PM to 08:00PM), over 800 exhibitors will be displaying a wide variety of state-of-the-art textiles and garments technologies, machinery and parts.
Textile and garment industry is the most important segment of Bangladesh's manufacturing industry; it has excelled in the international market, having global specialization rank 17 and 4 respectively. The industry accounts for 80% of total export earnings. Bangladesh is the 4th RMG exporters in the world with annual export of RMG over US$19 billion, and currently targeting US$26 billion by 2011-2012 fiscal year.
